Patricia Ann Graves Sachleben Heveline loved her family, her friends and her church family.
Grandma Pat as she was called, was a strong willed independent 83-year-old woman, who still mowed her own yard and drove herself to Milton Baptist Church every Sunday.
In March, her sister Dot Craig, passed away unexpectedly and it broke her heart. Grandma Pat wanted her hair to look nice for her sister’s visitation, but she fell before she made it into the beauty shop and this resulted in several broken bones. She never fully recovered from the pain and heartache, and went home to be with Jesus on June 25, 2018, surrounded by those she loved most.
Pat was the daughter of Herbert and Bertha Graves and was born October 31, 1934. She is survived by her brother, Larry Graves. She will reunite in heaven, with her brothers George, Noble, and Charles Graves, her sisters Laura Catherine Jones, Virginia Dee Reeves, Sudonna Gross, Barbara Ann Schiphorst and Dorothy (Dot) Craig.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Heveline and her precious great granddaughter Olive Kristine Fisher.
Pat leaves behind her two daughters, Wanda (Richard) Overpeck of Lafayette, IN, Debbie (Tim) Liter of Columbia, TN and her son, Alan (Suzanne) Sachleben of Bedford, KY.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandchildren were Mark Overpeck, Elizabeth Overpeck Price (Floyd), Tessie Liter Burke (Del), Andy Liter (Michelle), Amanda Sachleben Day (Richard), Karla Sachleben (Matt Stewart), Hannah Sachleben Fisher (Jimmy), Kristy Sachleben Kemper (Dylan). Her great grandchildren, Will, Raven and Cora Price, Alex and Danielle Burke, Maggie, Clara and Henry Liter, Makenzie, Dru and Trey Ferguson, Taytem and Kamy Anderson, JD, Ethan, Liam and Brody Fisher.
Pat loved to travel with her son Alan and his wife Suzanne, she loved to talk to her daughters Wanda and Debbie on the phone on a regular basis and everyone knew they lived in Lafayette and Tennessee, which was something she loved to share, as she was so proud of her children. She read romance novels, worked word search puzzles, garden, made the best desserts and would even share the recipes…or maybe part of the recipe. She loved the phone calls from her family and her friends, she loved to eat at El Nopal and Red Robin, especially when they sang to her on her birthday. She loved to give advice and had many years of knowledge which she freely shared. She had many family members and friends who stopped and checked on her on a regular basis which meant so much to her.
