Life story Adeline F. Spivey, age 87, of Fairfax, Virginia, formerly of Madison, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Fairfax. She was born on June 15,1928 in Seymour, Indiana. Adeline is survived by her daughter Karen Gawne and her husband, John, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her sons, Mark Spivey and his wife, Claire, of Fairfax, Virginia and Philip Spivey of Falls Church, Virginia; and eight grandchildren: Patrick, Elaine, Meghan, Shannon, Lauren, Ryan, Adeline and Audrey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene D. Spivey, originally of Madison, Indiana. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Fairfax Methodist Church, 10300 Stratford Avenue, Fairfax, VA 22030. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Springdale Cemetery in Madison, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
