Life story Mr. Adrian Dwight Foster, Jr., age 58, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the residence of his son in Milton. Born August 25, 1955 in Pomona, California, he was the son of Adrian D., Sr. and Ethel Gray Foster. Mr. Foster was a graduate of Indio High School in Indio, California, and retired in 2000 as a correctional officer with the State of California Department of Corrections. He moved to Milton in 2002 from LaQuinta, California, where he was a member of the LaQuinta Baptist Church. He was also a member of the California Correctional Peace Officers Association, and loved to watch "Star Trek." Survivors include his wife, the former Jolene Gordon, to whom he was married on April 16, 1977 in LaQuinta; one daughter, Amber D. McDonald and her husband, Douglas, Milton, Kentucky; one son, Ryan Foster and his fianc, Terrie Cox of Milton; his parents of Yucaipa, California; one sister, Mary Denise Weldon and her husband David of Pomona, California; two grandchildren: Savana J. McDowell and Jewel M. Foster; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 PM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Bedford, Kentucky. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Milton Fire and Rescue. The Lytle Funeral Chapel, Madison, is in charge of the arrangements.
