Life story Alan W. Ellis, 65, of Florence, Indiana, and son of the late Walter and Freda Ellis, was born October 14, 1954. He was united in matrimony to the former Christine Spencer. He was a mechanic and enjoyed welding, painting, excavating, working on cars, operating his tractor, cutting firewood and his dogs. Mr. Ellis passed away March 9, 2020 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. His life will be cherished by his children: Danette King, of Warsaw, KY, Joe Ellis, of Dry Ridge, KY, Shawn Ellis, of Dry Ridge, KY; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Ellis; and two brothers: Terry and Dennis Ellis. According to Alan's wishes, there will not be any services.
