Life story Mrs. Alice Cecila McIntire, age 90, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1924 in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of Benjamin and Thelma Beatrice (Hill) Tyrrell. Mrs. McIntire moved to Jefferson County in 1959. She worked for several companies including the former Myers Manufacturing Company, Clifty Inn and Restaurant, the former Park-N-Eat Restaurant, all of Madison, and the former Fiesta Restaurant in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a member of the Hanover Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons: Patrick McIntire of Lexington and Benny McIntire of Lansing, Michigan; one sister, Louise Strain of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers: Carl R. Tyrrell of Madison and Elmer Davis of Fern Creek, Kentucky; and four grandchildren: Ray T. Morgan, Charlie McIntire, Cecila McIntire and Chelsea McIntire. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Jessie David McIntire in 1994; one daughter, Donna L. Morgan on February 21, 2008; and one brother, Allen J. Davis in 1990.
