Life story Mr. Alvin Dale Gregory, age 69, of Hibernia, Indiana, formerly of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Born April 19, 1940 in Henry County, Kentucky, he was the son of Curtis and Aleine Roberts Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Jefferson County Conservation Club and former member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, working outdoors and playing cards. Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Wynn of Madison; four sons: Nick Gregory of Atlanta, Georgia, Ritchie Gregory of Dallas, Texas, Dane Gregory and Calvin Dale Gregory, both of Madison; four brothers: Ronald Gregory of Shelbyville, Kentucky, William Wayne Gregory of LaGrange, Kentucky, Glenn Gregory of Port Royal, Kentucky, and Earl Gregory of Sellersburg, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara, who died on January 18, 1996; two sons: Mickey and Cary Gregory; and one brother, Shirley "Mert" Gregory. Mr. Jim Cox will conduct memorial services at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 20120 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Alvin D.
