Life story Mrs. Ann l. Housefield, age 73, of Bay Minette, Alabama, formerly of Madison, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Montrose Bay Nursing Home in Dafney, Alabama. She was born March 4, 1932 in Jefferson County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles "Pete" and Beatrice (Rodgers) Ditzler. Mrs. Housefield moved to Alabama in 1977 after retiring as the owner/operator of the former Main Grill restaurant. She also had served as bookkeeper for the former Jay's Market for several years. She was a charter member of the Hanover Chapter #525, Order of Eastern Star and was a member of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Bay Minette, Alabama. Survivors include three daughters: Norma Cheryl Housefield Perry and her husband, Trimble, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Tammy Lynn Brown and her husband, Haywood, of Bay Minette, Alabama, and Tricia Ann McDowell, and her partner Margie Crenshaw of Madison; one son and is wife, Jaymee and Shevewan Housefield of Fort Walton Beach; three sisters: Lenore Norris and Judith Jones, both of Louisville, Kentucky, and Patricia Bayne of Madison; grandchildren: Michael Allen Skirvin, Kyle Housefield, Jacqueline Michelle Brewer, Staff Sergeant Joseph Trimble Perry, James Michael Isaac, Andrea Elizabeth Brown, Courtney Addison Housefield, Angela Louise Brown, and Shandi Rhiannon McDowell; great-grandchildren: Anthony, Katelyn, Trimble, Ashleigh and Landon; and several nieces and nephews. The Reverend Howard Bell will conduct funeral services at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, and after 10 A.M. Friday at the funeral chapel. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Autism Society of America. Cards are available at the funeral chapel.
