Life story Mrs. Anna M. McCauley, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. She was born on May 22, 1937 in Canaan, Indiana, the daughter of Avery and Mary Louise (Harsin) Stewart. Mrs. McCauley traveled and trained in the insurance business, and worked for Commonwealth Insurance Company in Louisville, Kentucky for ten years. She was a thirty year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include one daughter, Ava Smith of Madison; one sister, Maude Lunsford of Hanover, Indiana; two grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Keith Tullis on May 26, 2010. The visitation and funeral will be private for the family. Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery.
