Life story Audrey Patterson Porter, age 69, of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 27, 1940 in Jefferson County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harley and Kathleen Thompson Patterson. Mrs. Porter was a graduate of Deputy High School and moved to Florida from Madison many years ago. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. Survivors include one daughter, Darcell Ritchey of California; two sons: Rob Ritchey of California and Lee Nelson of Florida; one sister, Patricia Fisher of Brooksburg, Indiana; one half-brother, Marvin Patterson of Madison; four half-sisters: Wanda Turner of Madison, Virginia Bruce of Kentucky, Carolyn Jessup of and Cheryl Bruther, both of Hanover, Indiana; her step-mother, Mable Patterson of Hanover; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harley Patterson; her mother, Kathleen Thompson Morgan; and one infant son. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
