Life story Barbara A. Kroll, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. She was born on July 22, 1943 in Madison. Mrs. Kroll was a lifelong resident of Madison, having graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1961. She had worked as the clerk for the former Hammack's IGA and worked in produce at the JayC Store in Madison, and retired in 2006 as the produce manager for the Carrolton, Kentucky Wal-Mart store. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo and was an avid IU basketball fan. Survivors include two daughters: Kim Smith and Shannon Stark and her companion, Kevin Dillman, all of Madison; one nephew/son, Rocky Chandler and his wife, Tabby of Carrollton; one sister and brother in law: Ida "Eaddie" and Lonnie Jones, Madison; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas James and Judy Jones of Milton, Kentucky and Robert Eugene and Janet Jones of Madison; one sister-in-law, Mary Carolyn Jones of Milton, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Justin Downey, Bethany Edmisten, Cheyenne Smith, Brady Stark, Keaton Dillman, Krista Dillman and Masen Chandler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Marie (Walters) Jones, and one brother, John Allen Jones. Mr. Mike Woodfill will conduct memorial services at 7:30 PM Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7:30 PM Friday.
