Life story Benjamin (Ben) B. Taylor, age 31, of Hanover, Indiana, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 11:32 AM March 30, 2019 at his residence. He is survived by his mother, Christine Taylor, brother Tolby, wife Rachel, daughters Rylee and Jolee, and sister Brandy. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Bow Bear and his cat, Snuggles. Benjamin was born at Langley Air Force Base on January 7, 1988. He lived a life rich with education, completing NJROTC from 2002-2003 in Bloomfield, Indiana, and graduated from McDowell in 2006. He later graduated from Ivy Tech Community College, Columbus in 2017 with an Associates degree in General Studies. He was working hard to become an automotive engineer. In his spare time, he loved working on cars, and working on his two vehicles, Yoshi and Bowser. His favorite movies were the Aliens series, a passion he shared with Jolee. He met Rachel in 2016 and they were married on March 29, 2019. Benjamin was also a 14th generation America, with a pending application to the Sons of the American Revolution. Ben courageously fought Cancer for 17 months, surviving multiple treatments and surgeries. He was a strong, kind soul and will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew him.
