Life story Bettye P. McClure, age 83, formerly of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Big Bend Woods in Valley Park, Missouri, where she had resided for the past several years. She was born on March 8, 1924 in Booneville, Indiana, the daughter of Bert and Anna Becker Parker. Mrs. McClure worked for the Lytle Mortuary for twenty-five years as the receptionist. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Jan McClure of Overland Park, Kansas, and Jeffrey and Elizabeth McClure of Saint Peters, Missouri; four granddaughters: Kim Taylor and her husband, Todd, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Lauren McClure of Saint Charles, Missouri, Carmen Stone and her husband, Anthony of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Michelle Robb and her husband, Daniel of Saint Charles, Missouri; two grandsons: Ryan McClure of Saint Peters, and Eric Filippi and his wife, Kari of Wichita, Kansas; and six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Crider Center of the Saint Charles County, Missouri Humane Society.
