Life story Mr. Billy Joe Meadows, 56, of Madison, Indiana, and son of James Meadows and Loretta (Kinman) Meadows Backus, was born January 2, 1963, in Carrollton, Kentucky. Mr. Meadows was united in matrimony to the former Christy Calico. He was a farmer and enjoyed camping and fishing. Mr. Meadows passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care in Louisville, Kentucky. His life will be cherished by his mother, Loretta Backus of Canaan; his step-children: Aubrey Yance and her husband, Clint, and B.J. Melton, all of Lexington, Indiana; one brother, Dave Meadows and his wife, Wanda of Canaan; his granddaughter, Christina Yance: his nieces and nephews: Kyle, Kayla and Justin Meadows, Billy Wilson and Michelle Witt; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife, Christy Calico Meadows; his father, James Meadows; and two sisters: Deborah Caroco and Paula Jones. There will be no services.
