Obituary

Life story Mr. Bobby E. Lupardus, age 68, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Friday November 10, 2006 at his residence. Born May 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Earl and Opal (Westfall) Lupardus. He married Maudie Spry on March 18, 1983. Mr. Lupardus was a Private First Class in the United States Army and served in Germany and France. He worked as a lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local #1393. He was a member of the American Legion, Jefferson Post #9 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Survivors include his wife Maudie; one step-daughter, Joann Lynch and her husband, Jerry of Deputy; a step-son, Larry Spry of Madison; three granddaughters, Kim Newman, Bev Tucker, and Susie Koerner; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Holbert and her husband, Gary of Lebanon, TN; and a brother, Rodney Lupardus and his wife, Jessica of Gandeeville, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Roger Lupardus; an infant sister, Sandra Kay Lupardus, and an infant brother, Billy Oren Lupardus. The Reverend Howard Bell will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Pisgah Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 PM Monday and after 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. The Honor Guard Detail of the United States Army will conduct military funeral honors at the graveside.
