September 8, 1958 – October 16, 2021
Mr. Brian Copeland, age 63, of Chelsea, Indiana, and son of the late Charles and Mary (Yocum) Copeland, Jr., was born on September 8, 1958, in Madison, Indiana. He graduated in 1978 from Southwestern High School. He was a pest control technician for Mr. Pest Control and Dominion Pest Control where he retired. Brian loved cars, especially fast cars, car shows, swap meets, and working on cars. He also liked UK basketball. Mr. Copeland passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
His life will be cherished by his children: Jeremy K. Copeland, of Madison, Corey A. Copeland, of Madison, Marketta R. Nasby and her husband, Riley of Chelsea; his companion and caregiver, Wendy Abbott of Chelsea; his sister, Terry Copeland of Chelsea; his grandchildren: Caiden Copeland, Malachi Copeland, Ryan Copeland, Lincoln Copeland, Caraline Nasby, and Madaline Nasby; and his nieces and nephews: Karen (Donnie) Jenkins, Kayla, Haley, CJ, Becky, Adam, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Clinton, Aaron, and Devin Copeland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Timothy Copeland and Barry Copeland.
Friends and family may call for a memorial gathering at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to American Kidney Fund. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
