Life story Bruce E. Ure, age 59, of Madison, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the son of James and Evelyn MacDonald Ure. Mr. Ure worked for 20 years as a quality technologist for the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Michigan. He then worked for Pfiser Pharmaceuticals in Kalamazoo, Michigan as a lead supervisor. He moved to Madison in September, 2005. His memberships included the Madison Presbyterian Church and the Ohio Valley Celtic Society. Survivors include his wife, the former Laura Gale, to whom he was married in 1999 in Scotland; one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny Foster and Brent Fujinaka of Honolulu, Hawaii; one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Helen Ure of Battle Creek, Michigan; and one granddaughter, Charlotte Foster-Fujinaka of Honolulu. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Madison Presbyterian Church.
