Life story Mr. Carl E. Fry, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at his residence. Born May 24, 1922 in Fulton County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Dorcie and Verna (Gault) Fry. His wife, the former Sarah C. Harris, also preceded him in death on August 20, 2003. Mr. Fry was a self employed dairy farmer and attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Madison. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Carla and Doug Wilson of Franklin, Indiana, Carole and Pat Maxwell and Paula David Lamb, all of Logansport, Indiana, and Cindy and Mark Wilburn of New Albany, Indiana; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale and Carol Fry of Greensburg, Indiana; a step-daughter, Lorena Turner of Monticello, Indiana; an adopted daughter, Ruth Snyder of Greensburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and John Dodrill of Knightstown, Indiana; one brother, Alvin Fry of Logansport, Indiana; and several grandchildren. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, where friends may call from 5 PM until time of services. A second funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2005 at the Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport, Indiana, with interment to follow in the Fulton Cemetery there. Friends may call at Gundrum Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until time of services on Thursday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Pilgrim Holiness Church in the name of Carl E. Fry. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
