Life story Mrs. Carlie Ann Carter, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born on June 29, 1956 in Madison, Indiana. She attended Madison Consolidated High School, and a former employee of the former River Valley Nursing Center, The Waters of Clifty Falls and Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed collecting M & M men. Survivors include her husband, Paul W. Carter, to whom she was married in Madison in 1999; her mother, Alma Hedgepeth of Madison; one son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Kayla Davis of Florence, South Carolina; one daughter, Shawna Roll of Troy, Ohio; two step-sons: Andrew Carter of Madison, and Paul Carter, Jr. of Hazard, Kentucky; two step-daughters: Paula Phillips of Carrollton, Kentucky and Michelle Sandlin of Hanover; three brothers: Donnie Davis, Mark Davis and Robert Graves, all of Madison; one sister, Linda Renfro of Holton, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Reverend Mike Stephens will conduct funeral services at 11 AM Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery.
