Life story Carol Ann Perry, age 77, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her residence after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on March 24, 1938 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Verna (Ortman) Grimm. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Ernest E. Perry, to whom she was married on June 29, 1977; three daughters: Lisa Houze and her husband, Rob of Hanover; Nancy McClure of Madison, and Rose Glispie of Clarksburg, Ohio; four sons: Allen Porterfield and his wife, Rebecca of Montvale, Virginia, Ernie Perry and his wife, Kirstin of Eldred, Pennsylvania, Doug Perry of Frankfort, Ohio, and Kevin Perry of Lauraville, Ohio; one brother, Paul Grimm and his wife, Liz of South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Cathy Sue Lambert and Brenda Sue Porterfield; and brothers and sisters: Arthur Grimm, Robert Grimm, Art Grimm, Charles Grimm, Roger Grimm, Wilma Lewis, Mildred Coldren, JoAnn Gorden, Janice Edwards, Doris Hockman and Mary Woodgeard. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 West Market Street, Washington Courthouse, Ohio 43160. Friends and family may call at the Summers Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon Tuesday.
