Life story Carolyn Sue Gibson, age 76, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born January 15, 1943 in Scott County, Indiana, she was the daughter of William R. "Billy Bob" and Wilma Jean (Means) Conover. She worked eleven years as a nursing assistant at Westminster in Clarksville, Indiana and at earlier at Grote. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Pamela Luckett Sutter and her husband, Mark of Hanover, Indiana and Jama Sue Gibson and her spouse, Chasity of Louisville, Kentucky; her brothers: Lloyd "Johnny" Conover and his wife, Debbie and Michael Conover and his wife, Vicki, all of Lexington, Indiana; her sister, Janice Spillman and her companion, Dale Cope of Madison; her step daughters: Sheila Gibson of Hanover, Julienne Gibson of Madison, Laura Sadler of Madison and Stephanie Gallahar of New Albany; two grandchildren: Brittany Luckett and Jessica Short; and three great-grandchildren: Liliana Short, Braelyn Burris, and Isabella Luckett. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jeffrey Luckett; one sister, Donna Jean Hash; one granddaughter, Courtney Short; an aunt, Eva Clark; and granddog, Tia. Reverend Aaron Fluke will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2019 at New Bethel Church, 9248 West New Bethel Road, Lexington, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the New Bethel Church from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2019. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Colon Cancer Foundation.
