Life story Carolyn "Twig" Peak, age 76, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. Born December 2, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Cecil L. and Dorothy J. (Hill) Trowbridge. Twig was a 1955 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis and was the office manager for the City of Madison Street Department for many years. She retired from the Jefferson County Clerk's Office after many years of service. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, and Jefferson County Democrat Party. She was a fan of Indiana University basketball, Indianapolis Colts, Hydroplane Racing and going to "the boat." Most of all, she loved spending time with her many friends. Surviving are four sons: Larry, Michael, and Brian Peak, all of Madison, and Richard Peak of Indianapolis; her sister, Shirley Taylor of Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. The Reverend Chris Craig will conduct private funeral services for the family. Friends and family may gather for viewing and visitation from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday March 2, 2013 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, 423 West Main Street in Downtown Madison.
