Life story Mrs. Carolyn Sue Johnson, age 57, of Deputy, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born on August 18, 1952 in Marion, Indiana. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, flowers and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Johnson, to whom she was married on February 17, 1995 in Deputy; her mother, Rosa Long of Deputy; one daughter, Rachelle Phelps of Deputy; three step-sons: Jason Applegate of Scottsburg, Indiana, Billy Applegate of Madison, and Raymond Johnson, Jr. of Deputy; one step-daughter, Irene Applegate of Deputy; five sisters; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. No services are scheduled. The family requested that memorial contributions be made to the Rachel Phelps Education Fund.
