Life story Catherine A. (Hill) Horton, age 92, was born in Madison, Indiana, on January 2, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Hill. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Horton on APril 7, 1946. Bob and Catherine owned and operated Horton's Garage until Bob's death in 1986. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Catherine loved all animals and tried to care for all of them. She also liked a good game of euchre, various board games, along with cold beer. Catherine died at Hickory Creek Nursing Facility in Madison on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She enjoyed very much her roommate Patricia and all the staff, and enjoyed bingo and singing while there. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Horton and Thomas Horton, both of Madison; her daughters: Kathy Hensley of Madison and Jeanne Townsend of Lexington, Indiana; her grandson, Evan Hensley of Madison; her sisters: Alice Wasnok and Janet Conners; her brother, Paul Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Catherine's wishes were cremation. A private service will be held at a later date.
