Obituary

Life story Mr. Charles E. "Chuck" Holloway, age 66, of Madison, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2006 at Hickory Creek of Madison. Born March 14, 1939 in Jefferson County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Charles and Allie Mae (Henderson) Holloway. Mr. Holloway recently returned to Madison after living in Danville, Kentucky for several years. He was a long distance truck driver, a painter and a carpenter. He was formerly a member of Eagle's Lodge #1158. He loved to sing and playing his guitar, especially Country music. He was also an artist. Survivors include one daughter, Charlene Holloway of New York; three sisters: Nancy Matthews of Waldo, Arkansas, Sheila Scott of Madison and Vickie Smith of Rossville, Indiana; one step-sister, Dorothy June Cable of Tennessee; and three step-brothers: Edward Adams and Junior Adams, both of Canaan, Indiana and Vernon Adams of Madison. Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his father in 1942; his mother, Allie Mae Adams, on March 23, 2002; his step-father, James Adams in 1980; and one step-brother, Billy Joe McDole. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct memorial services at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Cards will be available at the funeral chapel.
