Life story Mr. Clarence A. "The Great Pignie" Stephenson, Jr., age 86, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. He was born on November 16, 1922 in Madison, the son of Clarence A. and Stella Stephenson. Mr. Stephhenson had worked for the City of Madison in the Sanitation Department before his retirement. He also enjoyed playing pool. Survivors include many friends in Madison, especially those in the downtown area. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
