Life story Courtney Nicole Short Meadows, age 29, of Madison, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on November 7, 1984 in Madison, she was the daughter of Mark C. and Pam Luckett Short. Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker. Her hobbies included dancing, music, cooking and writing poetry. Survivors include her husband, Billy Meadows, to whom she was married on June 17, 2013; one daughter, Liliana Sunshine Short of Canaan; her mother and step-father, Pam and Mark Sutter of Madison; her father and step-mother, Mark C. and Connie Short of Canaan; two sisters: Jessica Short of Hanover, Indiana, and Chelsea Short of Madison; paternal grandparents: Chelsea A. and Maria Short of Madison; maternal grandmother, Carolyn C. Gibson of Madison; one aunt, Jama Gibson of Louisville, Kentucky; two uncles: Shephen Luckett of Alberta, Alabama and Scott Short of North Vernon, Indiana; and one nephew, Braelyn Burris of Corbin, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elsie Weary, and one uncle, Jeff Luckett. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment in the Marble Corner Cemetery .
