Life story Mr. Daniel Mark Murphy, age 56, of Worthville, Kentucky, formerly of Madison, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at his residence in Worthville. Born March 20, 1956 in Madison, he was the son fo Dale, Jr. and Madge (Batschelet)Murphy. He had worked at McNeal's Hardware Store in Carrollton, Kentucky for nearly thirty years. He enjoyed guns and trapshooting. Survivors include two sons: Sean Murphy of Madison and Troy Murphy of New Albany, Indiana; one brother: Roger Dale Murphy of Madison; his companion. Sandy Forresting of Louisville, Kentucky; and one nephew, Brent Miller of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Melissa Hackney. The family will host a Gathering of Friends from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
