Life story Mr. Darren Wayne James, age 39, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Robert R. and Barbara (White) James. Mr. James was self-employed in the construction industry. He built and flew radio-controlled model airplanes, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include one daughter, Lucii Brettney Dickerson of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; his mother, Barbara McMillin of Madison; two sisters: Renee' Kitchens-Ogden and her husband, Billy of Crestwood, Kentucky and Regina Alcorn and her fiance, Tommy Welsh of Madison; his grandmother, Edith McMillan of Batesville, Indiana; three nieces: Natalie Neal and Mary Charlotte Alcorn, both of Madison, and Ricci Lynne Vaughn of Florence, Kentucky; and two nephews: Ryan Neal of Osgood, Indiana and Billy Guy Kitchens-Ogden of Crestwood, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert R. James, I in 1973; one brother: Robert R. James, II in 1979; his step-father, Tom McMillin in 1997; and his grandparents: Harold and Fern James, Lloyd White, Jr. and Lavina Schardine. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. EST on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 12:00 Noon until time of services on Saturday.
