Obituary

Life story Mr. David Bruce George, age 40, of Madison, Indiana, passed away at 4:21 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. Born March 28, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Philip R. and Judith List George. Mr. George grew up in Madison, graduated from Madison High School in 1984 and attended the Florida Institute of Technology, in Jenson Beach Florida. He then moved to Durango, and Telluride, Colorado before moving back to Madison in 1999. He was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, loved Formula One racing, snow skiing, cycling, mountain biking and cooking. It was said, he loved fast cars, beautiful women, and good food. Survivors include his parents; one sister, Julie A. Truax, and her husband Larry, of Madison; two brothers John R. George and his fiancee Gretchen Harsin of Indianapolis and Chip George and his wife, Elizabeth of Deputy; several nieces and nephews: Jennifer George and her fiance, Chafee Miles, Jonathan George, Andrew George, Ben George, Brent Warren, and his fiancee Lindsey Johnson, Emily Warren, Michaela George, Lily George, John Paul George, Antonio George, Stacy Smith, Chad Truax, and Carrie Truax. Mr. Bill Ohlendorf will conduct funeral services at 3:00 PM Sunday October 1, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel in downtown Madison. Friends and family may gather for visitation from 12 to 3 PM Sunday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Madison Riverfront Project or the Humane Society. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
