Life story Mr. David C. White, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Hickory Creek of Madison after thirteen years of residing there. He was born June 12, 1940 in Augusta, Kentucky, the son of Charles and Freda (Martin) White. Mr. Whites parents came to Madison to work for the US Shoe Corporation, where he also worked and from where he retired as a supervisor after many years of service. He had a good sense of humor and loved a good joke or "tall tale," hunting, fishing and other sports. He was also a professional wrestler in the 1970's. Surviving are his four children: Robin Danner and her husband, Devon, of Madison; Blane White and his wife, Angie, of Madison, and their son, Michael; Shannon O'Neal of Madison and her sons T.C. and Steven; and Susan Stoner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and her children, Saxon, Evan, Cole and Isabel; his mother of Canaan, Indiana; and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris and Bob Gray of Canaan, and Diann and Wayne Mahoney of Hanover, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, an infant brother and grandparents. The family has chosen to take him back to Augusta, Kentucky for private services.
