Life story Decota Mae Cosby daughter of William and Julia Todd was born in Madison, Indiana September 25, 1920 and died at King's Daughters' Hospital May 10, 2008 at 8:20 P.M. at the age of 87. Decota was united in marriage to Clifford Cosby September 25, 1946. She was a member of the Broadway Second Baptist Church, The Anna Laura Missionary Circle and Mother of the Church. She loved to play games and work crossword puzzles. Decota was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Cosby, her mother and father William and Julia Todd, 3 sisters; Caroline Todd, Jennie Cosby and Ruth Humes, 3 brothers; Raymond Todd, William Todd and Louis Mason Todd. Leaves to mourn her 2 daughters; Joyce Ann Tyree, Ella Mae Humes, 2 grandsons; James (Teddy) Tyree and Carl Nelson Tyree and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday May 13, 2008 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may gather from 10:00 AM until time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
