Life story Dennis Dale Yocum, age 69, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Hanover Health and Rehab in Hanover. Born January 22, 1950 in Carrollton, Kentucky he was the son of William Elmo and Buelah Mae (Clemmons) Yocum. Dennis would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, singing and guitar playing, hunting and fishing to his heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left detailed instructions for his family to celebrate his mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated He will be sadly missed by his son, Dennis Yocum and his wife, Bobette of Groveport, Ohio; his grandchildren: Shane and Grace Yocum of Groveport, Ohio, Maddison Yocum of Hilliard, Ohio; his great grandchildren: Kyser and Kyleigh; his sisters: Wanda Burress of Hanover and Pearl Konkle of Columbus; his brothers: Duke Yocum and his wife, Jody of Hanover, and Paul Yocum of Hanover; his life partner, Rebecca Hauck and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: Billy, Norman, Kenny and Mary Jo. At his request, there will be no services.
