Life story Mrs. Dolores L. Maddox, age 78, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover. She was born on July 18, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of John M. and Olivia M. Morgan Coons. Mrs. Maddox was a graduate of the former North Madison High School, and worked for many years as bookkeeper for the former Jay's Market in Madison. Her memberships included the New Prospect Baptist Church near Hanover. Survivors include her husband, Norbert Maddox, to whom she was married on June 30, 1950 in Madison; one daughter: Karen Ashby and her husband, Dale of Hanover; two sons: Dennis Maddox and his wife, Debbie of Hanover, and Ricky Maddox of Hanover; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and four nieces and four nephews. The Reverend Irmal Elliott will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
