Life story Mr. Donald Lee Miller, age 72, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born on March 11, 1936 in Anderson, Indiana, the son of John and Leona Miller. Mr. Miller was a graduate of Anderson High School, and earned a Bachelor's degree from Anderson University. He went on to Purdue University, where he received his Master's degree. He also had some work toward a doctorate. Mr. Miller was a psychologist with the Muscatatck State Hospital for twenty-two years, retiring in 1983. He moved to Madison in 1963 when his was married. He enjoyed gardening, music and loved to read. He was a member of Madison First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Martha J. Dunn, to whom he was married on April 19, 1963; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy M. and Mary Miller of North Vernon, Indiana; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Ray Brizendine of Greenfield, Indiana; six grandchildren: J. Marc Miller and his wife, Casey of Hebron, Kentucky, Christina Summers and her husband, Kevin, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joshua Lee Miller and his wife, Lauren, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, Patricia J. "P.J." Trader and her husband, Grant, of Madison; Nichole and Samantha Herr, both of North Vernon; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with graveside services and interment to immediately follow at Springdale Cemetery. Reverend Don Messor and Reverend Sherman Beville will conduct the services. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
