Life story Elizabeth Frances Fryman, age 84, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Baptist Health in Louisville, Kentucky. Born August 21, 1934 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Mary Alice (Fryman) Whirls. On May 9, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Fryman in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She formerly worked for a sewing factory in Cynthiana, Kentucky, from where she and her family moved in 1970. She also sold Avon for many years. In 1994, she retired as a nurse's aide with Kimberly Quality Care of Louisville. Mrs. Fryman was a member of Milton United Methodist Church and of the Methodist Women, both at her church in Milton and Cynthiana. She enjoyed sewing, reading, making quilts, crocheting afghans, and collecting thimbles, teapots, and salt and pepper shakers. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert; one daughter: Peggy Sue Huff of Milton; three sons: Robert A. "Bobby" Fryman and his wife, Sherry of Milton, Jerry Fryman and his wife, Lisa of Milton, and Kenneth Lee Fryman and his wife, Darlene of Bedford, Kentucky; one brother, Kenneth Allen Whirls and his wife, Pat of West Chester, Ohio; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Timothy Wayne Fryman, one brother, Thomas Whirls, and an aunt who helped raise her, Fanny Teel. Reverend Mike Gibbens and Reverend Mike McArter will conduct funeral services at 12:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Milton United Methodist Church, Milton. Interment will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Madison, Indiana. Friends and family may call at Milton United Methodist Church from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Baptist Health, Louisville. Contributions may be made at the church or at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
