White
December 7, 1943 – January 20, 2022
Elizabeth "Jinx" White, age 78, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Frances M. "Billie" (Aspinall) Keach, was born on December 7, 1943, in Madison. She graduated from Hanover High School and attended Ball State University. Throughout her life, she worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory, the Country Club, the Madison Elks Lodge, the Hereford Lounge and was previously the activity director at the former Clifty Falls Convalescent Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, taking care of her dog: Pepper, and spending time with her grandkids. She grew up boating and enjoyed her time on the pontoon. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a true servant at heart. She was always taking care of others, from babies to the elderly. Over the years, she volunteered in the local school system and was involved with the American Cancer Society, the Humane Society, St. Jude Children's Research and numerous other organizations. Ms. White passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her residence in Madison.
Her life will be cherished by her children: Robin Ann Danner and her husband, Devon of Madison, David Blane White and his wife, Angie of Madison, Shannon O'Neal, of Madison, and Susan Stoner and her husband, Eric of Smyrna, Tennessee; her sister: Dixie Harsin and her husband, Gary of Madison; her brother: Mark Keach, of Madison; her grandchildren: Michael (Taja), Steven, T.C., Saxon, Evane, Cole, and Isabelle; and her great grandchild: Tobias. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, David White, and her companion, Heinz Koop-Lampe.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson County Youth Shelter, the Jefferson County Animal Shelter, or the Madison Riverfront Development. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
