Life story Mrs. Elsie P. Goins, age 85, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away at 4:25 PM Saturday, November 12, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 14, 1920 in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles and Inez Mable (Arbuckle) Everhart. Mrs. Goins was a homemaker and worked in a factory in Indianapolis for many years. She was baptized in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Vernon, Indiana and attended the Milton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, swinging in her outdoor swing, and playing cards with family and friends. Survivors include two sons and daughters in law: Tom and Karen Evans of Milton and Roy and Deb Evans of Grove City, Ohio; two sisters: Helen Coons of Indianapolis and Ruth Trowbridge of Commisky, Indiana; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Robert Dean Evans on July 16, 1949; six sisters: Dorothy L. Everhart, Hazel L. Everhart, Reba Mae Everhart, Julia "LaVerne" Sipe, Florence R. Cardinal, and Agnes M. Oliver; six brothers: Carl, Paul L., Howard R., James E. and Bernard Raymond, and Charles R. Everhart. The Reverend Tom Mattingly and Reverend Mike McCarter will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday November 16, 2005 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
