Life story Eva Katharina Ziegler, age 96, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born October 26, 1910 in Wuertenberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the later Joseph Friedrich and Christine (Kuehner) Ziegler. Miss Ziegler became a U.S. citizen on June 1, 1960 and previously lived in Niagra Falls, New York before moving to Madison. She was a private seamstress and enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, reading and working crossword puzzles. At one time she was active in the Colvin Nutrition Center in Niagra Falls. Survivors include two sisters: Marie Spitz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Else Blinn of Germany; three nieces: Maria Kahl of Madison, Sigrid Joy of Colorado Springs, Colorda, and Christel Mack of Germany; and several great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
