Life story Evelyn Jean Bush Meadows, age 84, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 17, 1932 in Milan, Indiana, the daughter of Earl and Hazel Demaree Morrison. Mrs. Bush Meadows had worked as a school crossing guard and a bartender in Ohio, and later was a homemaker. She moved back to Indiana from Ohio in 1980. She was a member of the Jefferson Post #9, American Legion Women's Auxiliary and the West Madison United Methodist Church. She will be sadly missed by four daughters: Jessie Meece and her husband, Larry of Mason, Ohio, Sara Scroggins and her husband, Jerry of Osgood, Indiana, Judy Meyers and her husband, Dan of Harrison, Ohio, and Darla Rousch and her husband, Mike of Madison; three sons: Kenny Bush and his wife, Ethel of Madison, Ernest W. "Woody" Bush and his wife, Lelah of Versailles, Indiana, and Dwayne Bush and his companion Beth of Columbus, Indiana; one brother, Larry Morrison of Madison; one sister, Irene Youngblood of Madison; eighteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Lois Wooten and Ruth Tucker; and two brothers: Earl, Jr. and Don Morrison. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, with interment to follow in the Shelby Cemetery in Versailles, Indiana. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, from 5 to 8 PM Monday, October 17, 2016 and from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday. The Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion will conduct memorial services at 7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson Post #9, American Legion. Contributions can be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
