Life story Evelyn Ann Snook, age 64, of Madison, passed away at 1:10 PM Saturday September 30, 2006 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born December 23, 1941, the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Storie) Carnine. She was a graduate of Central High School. She married Emmett A. Snook on December 20, 1961 in Trimble County, Kentucky. Mrs. Snook was a homemaker and had worked for the former Conn Organ Company and provided daycare from her home. She and her husband loved to frequent flea markets and yard sales. She especially enjoyed meeting new people. She was an avid collector of Boyd's Bears, dolls, and Longaberger Basket's. Mrs. Snook was survived by her husband; a daughter, Kim Stewart and her husband, Darrell of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; two sons: Tim Snook and his companion, Del Percer of Vevay, Indiana; and Kevin Snook and his wife, Tiffany of West Harrison, Indiana; a sister, Phyllis Kirkham of North Vernon; two grandchildren: Clint Bowling and Haley Snook; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Reverend Stephen Perry will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 4, 2006 at the First Assembly of God Church in Madison. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel and from 10:00 AM until time of the services on Wednesday at the church.
