Life story Mrs. Evelyn G. Waters, age 91, formerly of Canaan, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. She was born August 23, 1913 in Jefferson County, Indiana, the daughter of Jasper and Sally Rogers Carnine, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Kenneth Waters, and one brother, Floyd Carnine, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Waters was a homemaker. She operated a restaurant in Canaan for a time and was a lifelong member of the Indian-Kentucky Baptist Church in Canaan. She is survived by one son, Ronald Waters of Canaan, and several nieces and nephews, including Evelyn Snook of Madison and Phyllis Fish of North Vernon. The Reverend Ed Roberts will conduct graveside services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Hebron Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Evelyn G.
