Life story Franklin Wayne Bell, age 72, of Madison, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. He was born Saturday, November 14, 1942 in Madison, Indiana, the son of Ervin Wayne and Mildred Luellen Bell. He was a driver for Madison Med Cab and retired after 25 years with the City of Madison Street Department. He liked to make handcrafted knives, walking sticks and canes, fishing, hunting, car shows and was a huge NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Canaan Masonic Lodge and American Legion, Jefferson Post #9, Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Shelly and Tim Bradford of Madison, Mary Lou and Robert Graves of Madison, and Jodi and Allen Anderson of Madison; his mother, Mildred Luellan Barker of Madison; four step-children; one brother, Rick Bell of Madison; nine grandchildren: Leah Lispy, Noah Bell, Tyler Wayne Bell, Robert Rack Graves, Jesslyn Graves, Jonathan Claypoole, Chelsea Claypoole, Elizabeth Anderson and Aaron Bradford; ten great-grandchildren; one niece, JoAnn Anderson and one nephew, Jeff Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife, Mary Helen Carver; his second wife, Sharon Strasemeier Bell, and step father, Lloyd Barker. Larry Whelan will conduct memorial services at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Lytle Funeral Homes, Vail's on Michigan Road, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, Indiana with burial to be held at a later date at the Olive Branch Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Honor Guard of American Legion, Jefferson Post #9. Friends may call from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Lytle Funeral Homes, Vail's on Michigan Road. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Wayne Bell Memorial Fund, C/O Lytle Funeral Homes. Memorials can be made at the funeral home or on our website.
