Life story Gavin Charles Smith, age 31, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born on September 13, 1985 in Rochford, England, the son of Patrick M. Smith and Sheree (Powell) Smith. Mr. Smith was currently employed by Madison Precision Products but had previously worked for Arvin Sango, both in Madison, and as a professional carpet layer. He enjoyed playing pool, being around other people, listening to music, fishing in the ocean, and spending time at the beach. He was also a talented trumpet player. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Sheree Smith of Madison; his father and step-mother, Patrick M. and Dawn Smith of Lewes, Delaware; his brother, Adrian Craig Smith of Canaan, Indiana; one half-brother, Paul Smith of Rotterdam, Netherlands; two half-sisters, Aileen Mitchell of England and MacKenzie Smith of Lewes, Delaware; one step-sister, Kelly Fehrenbach of Milton, Delaware; two step-brothers, Justin Fehrenbach of Milton, Delaware and Chase Fehrenbach of Georgetown, Delaware; and several nieces and nephews including Jason Smith, Kingston Fehrenbach, and Raleigh Sarroco. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Mary Powell; his paternal grandparents, Fredrick and Elsie Smith, and two aunts, Susie Powell and Janice Davis. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel. Friends and family may call from 11:00am until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Gavin Smith Memorial Fund.
