Life story Goldie Irene Ogez, age 94, formerly of Madison, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles, Indiana. She was born on December 13, 1911 in Sullivan County, Indiana, the daughter of the late George W. and Eva Moyer Lloyd. Mrs. Ogez was a homemaker and farmer for most of her life, and a member of the Church of God in Commiskey, Indiana. Survivors include two sons: Jack A. Ogez of Franklin, Tennessee, and Eddie Robert Ogez of Seymour, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Teresa Rodebaugh, Don Ogez, Eddie Ogez, Jr., Patricia Johnson, Alice Perkins, Jack Ogez, Jr., Gail Pratt, Suzie Theune, and Barbara Hendricks; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ogez, Jr.; two sons: Ernest Lee Ogez and Edwin Ogez; two sisters: Ester Regina Lloyd and Mary Ellen Lloyd; and one brother, Byron Lloyd. The Reverend Robert Leach conducted funeral services at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Friends and family called at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday. Mrs. Ogez was flown to Mountain Home, Arkansas for burial in the Baxter Memorial Gardens there. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Jennings County.
