Life story Grace N. Cochran Cosby, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Thursday May 1, 2008 at the Waters of Clifty Falls. Born on January 8, 1924 in Madison, she was the daughter of Marian and Elizabeth (Mole) Cochran. Ms. Cosby was a homemaker, and loved listening to Elvis Presley Music. Survivors include three daughters: Lavanda Devanter of Leesburg, Florida, Barbara Griffith of Madison, and Wanneta Torres of Madison; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Hilda Level, Nora Buchanan, Bertha Reinshan, Annie Webb, and Mary Stoufer; two brothers: Martin and Frank Cochran; one grandson, Chuck Ashby; and two great-grandchildren.
