Life story Mr. Hugo T Miller, age 72, of Madison, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on December 2, 1937 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Paul and Eleanor Rosendahl Miller. Mr. Miller served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961. He returned to marry his sweetheart in January 1962 before venturing off to San Diego in 1966 and started work as a diesel mechanic. He retired in May 2005 from Hawthorne Machinery. He had also worked on sport fishing boats in San Diego from 1967 to 2003. He loved his yellow 1950 Ford Pick-Up truck that he had been working on since 1993. He was a member of the Cam Car Club of Madison. Mr. Miller loved to talk with people, but most importantly he was a devoted husband and father. He leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, the former Sondra Sue "Susie" McDaniel; two daughters: Margaret Olson and her husband, Lonnie of Madison, and Marcy Martin of Kona Kauia, Hawaii; two sons: Russell Miller and his wife, Charlene of Denver, Colorado, and Richard Miller and his wife, Ashly of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Richard Miller and his wife, Erma of Dayton, Ohio; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Springdale Cemetery, with interment following in Springdale Cemetery. The family request memorial contributions be made to research for Parkinson 's disease. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
