Life story Mrs. Jane Bodem, age 90, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in a Murphy care facility. She was a native of Madison and was the daughter of John C. and Mary (Kling) King. Mrs. Bodem had lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida before moving to Cherokee County, North Carolina in 1980. She was a former beautician and a member of St. William Catholic Church in Murphy. Survivors invlude her husband, Roy P. Bodem, and one son and daughter-in-law, John and Rita Bodem of Centralia, Illinois. Memorial services will be held at a later date, with private interment to be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Madison.
