Life story J.B. Stewart, age 56, of Frenchburg, Kentucky, formerly of Madison, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Born August 17, 1959 in Milan, Indiana, he was the son of Floyd and Mary Lou (Elkins) Stewart. Mr. Stewart formerly owned and operated Stewart Contracting Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sitting in the back yard picking the banjo and drinking moonshine. Survivors include one son, Jake Stewart of Madison; two daughters: Felicia Hartman of Bedford, Kentucky, and Jennifer Purvis of Carrollton, Kentucky, one sister, Maggie Norris of Winchester, Kentucky; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kelli Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Lytle Funeral Homes, Vail Chapel with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 9, and from 10 to 11 AM Thursday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the J.B. Stewart Memorial Fund, in care of Lytle Funeral Homes. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
