Life story Mrs. Jeanne E. Graves, age 64, of Madison at Rexville, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at her residence. Born March 12, 1952 in Elkhart, Indiana she was the daughter of John N. and Wilma D. (Denman) Vance. Mrs. Graves moved to Madison in 1960 and graduated from Madison High School in 1970, She worked at Developmental Services as a caregiver for the last twelve years. She attended Christ Episcopal Church and enjoyed gardening and used her artistic talents for all kinds of crafts, knitting, and leatherworking. She will be missed by her husband, David E. Graves, whom she married May 5, 1995; her sons: Christopher Jewel and his wife, Tatyana of Indianapolis, Robert Hallgarth of Louisville, Kentucky, and John W. Adcock of Madison; her step-son: Kevin Graves and his wife, Mary of Ripley County; her step-daughter: Rebecca Jackson and her husband, Brian of Versailles; her father, John Vance of Madison; her sister, Gayle L. Neace of Madison; and seven grandchildren: Kirill Mikhailov, Alec and Courtney Jewell, Er'ril Adcock, and Corinne, Colby, and Dalton Jackson. She was preceded in death by her mother on October 6, 2010. Memorial services will be conducted by Reverend Evelyn Wheeler at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 506 Mulberry Street, Madison, Indiana. Friends and family may gather at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 4 to 7 PM on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
