Mrs. Joan Joyce Wilson, age 78, of Vevay, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Zilvitis) Jakawich, was born on December 15, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. She had a Masters Degree in Library Science. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Wilson on November 6, 2014 at their home. She was an attorney and a private pilot. She was a member of the auxiliaries of the VFW and American Legion. Mrs Wilson passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Her life will be cherished by her husband, Larry Joe of Vevay, Indiana; her brothers: Ed Jakawich, of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Jim Jakawich of Southern California; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services and burial will be in Southern California.
